Flat spot in Twingo

  Twingo RS 133
Hi guys,

I have noticed quite an annoying flat spot in power at around 3k revs in the Twingo. Happens through the gear range. Its a nice feeling when it gets over it, feels like a kick-down, but i would prefer just a constant pull.
Would a remap sort this? if so, what would be expected bhp after? from 133 to? or would it just cure the flat-spot?
Im based in Surrey/SW London (Kingston,Surbiton, etc) is there anyone in the area who would get a recommendation? Or anyone with an idea of price?

Thanks

Adey.

i have an rs tuner remap on my 133. no top end gain really but the flat spot is less prominent. seems more eager from lower revs but its a characteristic of the engine.

if you want the flat spot minimised then only get someone who knows what they are doing to map it such as henk @ Fastchip, Paul @ RSTuning, and a few of the other guys from here with good reputation.

Billy big boost may claim he will do you a special offer of £159 for a remap that he will gain you 10bhp and get rid of your flat spot and hes done 100 of them etc etc but in reality I wouldn't touch them!
