Ebay don't vet what's sold , only when someone reports it do they look into it , thats what they told me anyway . I was arrested for buying some mace / pepper spray . I bought it from Canada where it's totally legal . I was charged with puchase and possesion of a fire arm and given a caution . The guy in Canada was still selling it months after . There's some for sale as we speak from a UK seller .

You let the CS goodie goodies in on it! LOL!

Are they really that illegal?

As a kid I used to collect knives (about 15 upwards) it started when my grandad gave me an old army knife, I used to bring all sorts back through airport security just fine... Flick knives, butterfly knives...

I used to do that butterfly knifes ftw proper cool as a kid. I used to love the shops full of knifes, air rifles etc.

Why are they illegal to sell on ebay?

TBH that could still do a lot of damage in the wrong hands... and it's not like you could slice some cheese with it.

Do a lot of damage? It has a blunt blade which is about 1cm in length, if you pulled it out on someone they'd laugh you to death.

What gets me is utility (Stanley) knives are allowed on eBay, now they could do some damage.

Not being funny, but a knife like that would appeal to youngsters, and especially in the wrong hands, and a blunt blade is worse than a sharp blade. Too right all knives should be illegal, especially these days.

Stanley knives are really handy, you can stab somebody many many times, and not hit any vital organs, but boy it fkn hurts.

FLOL didn't know you could get arrested for buying something, what did you actually want it for in the first place out of interest!?

Kershaw multitool do a combo that has a single hand operated knife, but becasue its not spring loaded, its legal. The rules need re-defining if you ask me to take into account size ect. A tiny nife like that couldnt cause any real damage, first of you woundnt be able to hold it strong as its so small, and the blade is smaller than the prongs on my fork! lol.

that little knife would'nt do much damage, some of you are saying, but you could make a fist and have the blade between your
fingers, and punch some fucker right in the eye with it,

i bet i could do plenty of damage with that,

right in the jugular :star:.

I hate knives. I don't even like my big cook's knife! It looks too much like a murder weapon.

You'd struggle to do much damage with that tiny flick knife but it's still a nasty-looking little thing.

I wouldn't even bother selling such a pathetic knife tbh, Bin it.

Thats a stupid comment, just because you see no value init doesn mean another person wouldnt. Its actually a very unique keyring knife and im sure a collector would love to buy it.

Funny how people perceive things; I dont see any of my chef knifes as a 'weapon' (or any knife in that matter). It is a tool, and much like all other tools, it can be used the wrong way to cause harm. Its only a weapon if you make it one...
