Flocked Dash + Airbag?

I'm stripping the dashboard out the clio next week so I can remove the sound deadening behind it and start spraying the interior

I figured it's a good time to send the dashboard off to be flocked - but got a quick question

Can my 172 dash top with passenger airbag be flocked - or do I need to find a base model dash without airbag?

The airbag obviously is going in the bin - but wasn't sure if the dash was too week or something daft

Will be fine afaik I've seen airbag ones flocked before.

I had my dash flocked and that was out of my 182, so it had the airbag.

No problems whatsoever mate.

Just need to find a new dash bottom half now as mine seems to be held together in several places using wood screws LOL!

Are you getting the top and the bottom flocked? Or just the top half?

Well I've got to take the whole lot out to paint the inside so figured I'd get the whole lot flocked

Well if your stripping the car completely, you might be better off selling your dash and getting a poverty spec ph1 dash? You won't need a glovebox etc in a track car!? Or is it a daily as well?

It's mainly a track/weekend car - though I will be doing a european road trip and a couple of nurburgring trips in it next year

I did look at the PH1 dash but I'm not keen on the shape
I'll probably keep the glovebox just as somewhere to stick the satnav and gopro etc.. on the way to track
