fluid changes?

over the winter at some point i will be giving the much loved cup a wee service. Oil, filter and plug change i can easy manage its the gearbox oil and coolant change ive never done.

Any steps i should follow/tips?

what grade of both gearbox oil and engine oil i should use?

its a 03 cup with 65k

gearbox is easy peasy, there's a sump plug on the bottom of the box (same size as the engine sump plug) to refill it remove the airbox and use a flexi funnel its 3.5L from memory and 75W80, i use ATF in mine, but i'm cheap!

coolant change isn't too bad, pull off the lower rad hose (clips can be a right bugger, mole grips will do it)

gearbox oil is easy peasy once you remove the airbox ull see the little (think its plastic) filler cover, it unscrews off (mine was quite tight but im weak!) then i got a bit of hose pipe and a funnel and re filled it (once it had been drained and plug refitted obviously lol)

also is it 3.5L?! i thought it was 3 thats all ive filled mine with, lucky ive not driven it yet!! lol

will i get away with 3l or do you need the full 3.1l?

Fill it until it starts to run out of the filler hole .The you know its full
