FLV to Any other format? AVI.. MPG.. etc

I'm looking for a FREE(well some how) converter to convert .flv files to another video format.. any ideas? i have tried a few of them an they dont work!

Got it working, on most of the files aint working on one of them i went though lots of settings 2 try though i guess anyidea whats best to output it to?
