Flyers - FAO Anyone With A Problem!

Ive sent this message in reply to a PM from someone on forum, but I thought Id paste it here too for you.

I cant believe this to be honest.. Im trying to do people a favour.

The original print run was £100 for 5,000 flyers. I didnt even receive this amount of money from ClioSporters.

I put in a large chunk of money to make up the difference, and made the run up to 10,000 flyers - I cant afford to put petrol in my car this week because I wanted to make sure there were spare so everyone could benefit.

The amount of money Ive taken from people to cover postage (£1 from the initial purchasers) doesnt even come close.

Ive put EXTRA flyers on top of the 250 paid for intitially to those paying up front, further increasing cost to myself.

Im not going to go into the figures, mainly because I dont have time but partly because I shouldnt have to.

People can choose to contribute, or they can choose not to simple.

If they really think Im trying to make £1 or something out of them for some f**king flyers, FINE, dont take part and be a cynical prick your whole life.


And you can paste that exact message to whoever it is who is bitching.

Im thinking that most people in this forum have some sense, otherwise wed be drivin pugs, or Kas. So dont be pi33ed of m8... not for the sake of the idiots in every few hundred.

The funny thing is noone has come forward now and admitted it, I was hoping for a couple of replies, but no chance.. they didnt even have the guts to PM me in the first place - instead they were bitching at someone else from the forum about what is happening..

I would be happy to pay .... i sponsered my old Forums every year .. if you get useful information and great meets then why not .. after all you spend most of your spare time here ????

Its a shame that people take things to seriously there are loads of people who work on the forum and aranging things for nothing.

Dont get disheartened some people are just like that unfortunatly.

I would have had some off you but theres bugger all clios round here so didnt feel the need for 250odd flyers.

Ive said this before, but big respect to you for putting in the time, effort and cash obviously to help the club grow etc.

Shame some people dont appreciate your efforts.....

yeah, id agree with the sentiments so far Neil. For those among us that are on here every day and enjoy the meets then you want to do what you can to promote the club - same as buying the stickers to go in your rear window etc and ive read people moaning about that in the past as well. Id be shocked if anyone thought you were trying a bit of a con with the flyers?!

I can see why people might say that their membership fee should go some way to covering the cost of advertising, but I can understand you being well peed off if people are insinuating anything about you personally bothering to go and get them printed. I want some as well - just not 250 for now! lol
