foam

  Clio MK 4
I've heard a few people say they foam the car before they wash it ?

Any links to a decent product as not sure what it is

thanks

There was a thread on here last week of one that connects to a karcher that halfords sell for £15 although, the one person with one didn't say it was that good.

I MAY buy one this weekend if they have one in store £15 is acceptable losses for a product that might work lol.

Sure is lol

I have one of each and prefer the Karcher one to be honest but the Gilmour is great if I only use a hosepipe

ive been looking at doing this for a while, but do not have a pressure washer. Does the Gilmour product in the link attach diretly to the garden hose?

If so i will get one:)

I've got the Super Spray hose attachment and whilst it doesn't obviously have the power of a pressure washer it produces a lot of foam and is very good at getting rid of most surface contaminants before washing with a mitt. Its pretty much the same concept as the Gilmour but 1/5 the price. You can adjust the dilution rate still, too.

I normally rinse, spray with Super Spray, rinse, spray with Super Spray then go over with the wash mitt using 3 bucket method.

Will probably get the Karcher and attachment eventually but no real need at the moment.
