Foamex

Car  Renault Clio 182 BG
Ive recently bought a 182 that has been stripped out by the previous owner, my plan was to put most of the interior back in as its a daily but im now im wanting to keep it fairly stripped but just tidy it up.
Someone recommended Foamex, to cover over the doors ect

Anyone ever worked with it? From what ive seen on eBay its used for signs ect so it is a firm material? With all th interior stripped is it pretty loud, obviously no boot carpet ect and its pretty loud when it rains! I was thinking on lining the boot down to the drivers seats with it, or is there a better way? Acoustic carpet maybe?

I worked with it when I was a print finisher, pretty light weight stuff and quite easy to cut as long as you have a very sharp stanley.
