Fog Light Wiring missing on Driver side?

  R5 GTT EFI Clio.
Ok so i got a bit bored earlier, and i decided to go out the front and pop the fog light covers off (the ones that are in place when you havent fitted them yet), as i plan to order some tongiht.

Anyways, i poped the passengers one off 1st, and found this...

Which was what i was expecting, but when i took the drive side off, there was no cables to be seen for the light, there was one which is shown in the pics below, one of the pics was taken through the hole and one from underneath the car, Were is the connection for this light? :O

Any ideas? :dapprove:

may be it's been tucked away somewhere - see if you can find it coming from the rest of the front lamp loom (not sure which loom it comes out of, just assuming it's the front lighting loom)

Thanks for the fast reply Henry, ill go and have another look and take some more pics now, but i looked at the loom on the passengers side and i could see it going down, but as far as i can remember there was no loom headding down to that side? :S, ill go and have a look and take some pics now.

hopefully someone will know which loom it emerges from
ed. oh right (sorry - can see four leads now) - so you need another loom that runs from that plug to both front fogs?

No, i have the lead linked to the wiring loom on the passengers side, its just the one on the drivers side is no were to be scene?, your right, i looked at the passengers side and i can see it going down from the main headlight, were the loom splits, down to the fog light, then the loom continues accross the front of the bay, to the other side, but it goes to the headlight, but nothing continues down to the fog light on that side.
The only real main reason ill be fitting these is for looks, but if i can have one working why not have the other too ;)..

I didnt take any pics as it was to dark or to light to see in there.

sorry, not sure about this as i've not fiddled - are you saying you've disconnected the plug in that picture from another loom?

i think McBeef's suggesting that there's another loom that runs from that plug to both foglamps (you've got four leads running into that plug)

i'd best leave this to someone who actually knows what they're talking about:eek:

I havent disconnected anything, all i have done is poped the caps off and this is what i have found, ok ill have another look in a minute after i have some tea, Just confusing thats all.

Oh so McBeer's saying that the connection thats connected to the cap, goes into another connection, and joint to that connection are the leads for both headlamps?...

That would make sence.

No thanks mate, just checked the clio and its already got the fog light option on the stalk, of course it does, all cars have rear fog lights.

Dont happen to still have the loom and lights do you? :approve:

I thought the foglights switch, which i have, was for both front and back, same as when you turn the lights on, it does front and back. it wouldnt be a seperate stalk just for the front?.... ill take a pic of what ive got now ... gimme a sec :)

Oh right, fair enough, how much you want for it? ... will it just plug straight into my connection? ... how do you fit them, ect?

Went to the scrap yard today with my father so he could fetch some bits he needed for the trike we built, so i decided to tag along as i knew there was a new ish 182 in there, So 1st thing i do is get in there and find it, Blue 04 model, front ended which was a shame as i could have had the loom for the lights, but the dash was fully intact, 1st thing i set about doing was getting the stalk out, which was easy as i could see someone else had already removed the steering wheel surround. Bearing in mind these things aint cheap new, i took it to him, bearing in mind i knew him, also got the fag lighter out of there (not that i smoke) but this one was unused, so replaced mine with that, remembered the fuse blew for my cd player/fag lighter port (same fuze) so i took all the fuzes out of the clio, took it to him, he said just take it, Got home, was fitted and peiced back together within the hour (Lunch inbetween), Heres 2 pics when i was half way through thinking it wasent all gonna go back LOL..
