Foglight-bulb changing?

I am wondering if I need to jack up the car when changing the fog light?
Anyway, any suggestion of what is the easiest way to do?

Just had to change my whole lamp unit.
Easiest way was to jack it up, so you can get proper access.

Undo 2 screws on the plastic cowel where it is screwed to the front spoiler.
You can then pull it down so you can get to the fog lamp.
Piece of cake then, but you will struggle if you cant get right underneath.

By the way, its them bloo** star screws again!

Depends what shape clio is it but yeah if its the very latest then jack it up.

Just go into the boot and unscrew the whole light assembly and it drops out easy to fit then - no need to jack it up

Hold On!!! Mine are 172 Mk2. We need to change the whole unit??? Can I just change the bulb? Jack Up is not a problem actually for me.

Yes, you can just change the bulb. The bulb fitting simply unscrews from the lamp unit and pulls out.

My fog glass was broke thats why i had to remove the whole thing.

Thanks for all your comment, but it seems I got a wrong bulb.

When everyone said we use H1 bulb, I found my 172 MK2 is having H11 bulb. It is stupid when I read the owners manual about foglight, it said - contact your Renault dealer.

I don't need to unscrew anything. There is a small rubber door (flap) underneath for you to get access to the back of the foglight. I had unplugged it, but! It is so hard to remove the H11 type of bulb.

Anyone can give me some advice???

Well, I check the web and found that H11 type of bulb is different with normal one. It is included the base adapter. Am I correct??
