font conversion, mac to pc

What is the best software to use to convert a font from one of our macs to pc ttf ? Obviously free/freeware if possible. The macs are osx.

If it's already an opentype font then you're good to go.

If it's a truetype font (mac format) then use this

It it's a truetype font (pc format) then you're good to go anyway.

Just tried this mate and its not playing. The files from the mac guys have an .AFM suffix. They will convert to PFM but the program errors if i try to convert to OTF opentype. Any ideas ?

All sorted. Used fontlab software on the mac to convert. Worked perfectly.

Ahh, Adobe fonts. There used to be a free a font manager on the adobe site that allowed windows to use them, adobe font manager deluxe or something like that, no conversion would be necessary.
