For those with Ipod Dock/Speakers - Bose or JBL

I have been looking at Ipod Dock/Speakers lately and was wandering if anyone knows of any good ones.

I have been looking at the following two in the links below and kinda narrowed it down to them as i down want to really spend more than 200 quid on a speaker dock.

Bose Sounddock (£145.83)

Does anyone own any of the Docks i have mentioned above ?

If so how do they sound ?

I have been into Currys, Comet, John Lewis etc etc with my Ipod and listened to them and i'm more swayed towards the Bose but open to opinions (and yes i have Googled them review and price wise etc)

I've got a JBL Ontime, as I wanted something to wake me up in the morning.

It's come down a lot in price since I bought mine, but I believe there's a new one coming out very soon.

Sound quality is pretty amazing considering. It would benefit from a DAB radio though.

Note that you need sound dock V2 if you want it to charge a new nano or touch

Not many high street stores do although Currys stock it (only ever found it at wednesbury) but I got mine from Richer Sounds in Birmingham.

I have The Bose Portal Soundock Speakers & I thinks it's great.

The sound quality is more than enough for me & handy for taking into other rooms without any leads if you wanted to.

I've a Bose dock too. Very impressive sound. Remote has packed up on mine though.

I was in this position last year and spent weeks listening to docks but went for the Jamo i300 which blew the rest within the pricerange away. I only paid £102 for it too as it has a tiny scratch on the back of it.
