Yep, it's been getting decent reviews! But I doubt the review guys were as fanboiish as me/Chris/Turkish and the like. All that we wanted was Forza in an open world environment. Meh, T10 sold out

With the way the DLC culture is going, by the time the next-gen consoles come out it'll be cheaper to buy a RL car than a Forza car pack.

Here's a tip for the forza geeks. In the control settings, click X to take you to the advanced options. Set the inside steering deadzone to '0'. Car feels 10x better and actually connected to the road.

Also, make sure that you follow what I mentioned before about stability control if you drive without aids. It makes a MASSIVE difference. Huge.

There are 6 all-new cars in the game (Abarth 500, Eagle Speedster, Infiniti G Coupe, Lancia Delta S4, S65 AMG, Mini Cooper, 205 Turbo 16), thankfully they are pretty decent.

Glad you thought so mate, good isn't it? It's a similar feeling of FM4 going from normal to sim steering.

How do I change the stability to off on the demo also?

This one's a bit trickier. Since PG/T10 in all their wisdom decided to take out STB from the difficulty settings, it's actually still in there - just in various states of aggressiveness depending on whether you go for easy, medium, pro - etc.

You need to select 'Expert', before manually selecting your preferences to actually turn it off. If you start with easy, and proceed to turn off all the driving aids, despite it going to 'custom', it'll still retain the 'easy' state of STB aggressiveness. So yeah, just go to expert before messing around with your preferred settings - this will completely shut it off.

Pretty bad bug really, can't believe it wasn't picked up on in testing.

Can't see that one person's opinion being gospel. Half of the fun of making a drift car is setting up the right tune for it.

Lol at 6 new cars. 1 of which isn't actually new. WOW. Also, no drivetrain swaps.

For what it's worth, I know I've being moaning a bit/a lot, but I was on the demo again last night with the settings I've mentions and actually find it really good fun to play. I do feel, that overall the devs have been lazy though. Those crash physics can't be forgiven though. They're awful.

In fairness, I personally don't know what a game like this takes to create.

We don't know much space they had to play with on a disk so crash physics may have been less important than scenery details.

FM4 had 2 disks full of content, this only has 1 I think so its going to be less packed than FM4.

Yup! I have.

Picked it up from Simply Game for £35 though, so not too fussed. I'll make the decision on the Season Pass after I've played it for a bit.

Should be able to get the points from eBay for about £30-34. I always use eBay for live and points, receive the code via email within minutes.
