Haha don't feel too bad I spent 2-3 hours chasing that lap time. Chasing the tenths gets tough when you know it's there but you f**k it up by out braking yourself or missing the right line etc. Then you have the complete Aliens getting multiple seconds out of nowhere 😩

Don’t use your wheel. Forza games are better/easier with a pad. Their implementation of FFB is woeful.

Next Q3 is now live pretty happy that I placed top 250 out of the 60k people who entered Q2 but the top times are blisteringly fast absolutely no chance of sniffing at the 100k but it's fun trying.

McLaren P1 maybe be a bit easier for most people too. Using that F1 car for 3 hours I definitely felt motion sickness kicking in. Will try give this a crack over the next few weeks. Do love a bit of Watkins Glen too.

The bus stop can be a right pain I'm just glad you can skip to end of the lap now once it's dirty as you couldn't do that in FM7.

I did a good hour on this the other day. 1st time I've played it for around 6 months so didn't think I did bad. Might have another bash this weekend. There's a few bits where I know I could do better.

Solid time that with a 6 month layoff it's surprising how quick you can get back into the groove. It's definitely one of those tracks where it's easy to lose time in multiple sections so piecing the perfect lap together is definitely the biggest challenge.

Also Bowkett with a 42.8 is mind boggling to me I don't know where the top guys find those chunks of time 😂

Next G Challenge is in McLaren M8B at Sebring.. Definitely quite a handful with this one. Pretty happy with my Q3 time though considering I'm rusty but those top times are just demoralising.

I've already set a time at Sebring but plan on improving at some point before I bother posting results. Fun car/track combo tbh.

I might not have been taking it too serious but that was a genuine win iirc 😂.

The micro adjustments you can get with a wheel definitely pays off with the slow stuff as you can keep the momentum without scrubbing the speed off so much.
