Found a bit of rust...

After washing the car y'day, I noticed in 2 area's a small development of rust. First part is right on the edge of bonnet, sort of near the headlight. Rust hasnt developed on the surface, but can see the paintwork has got a slight 'bubble' in it. Second part is on the passenger side, under the sill (where the side skirts are usually fitted). Unfortunately the rust is visible on the surface, not a huge area... BUT its there. My clio is '05 reg, so about 3½ years old. Any possibility this can get sorted via Reno @ no cost, or wont they consider looking? As IIRC is there a 5 year warranty on paintwork, or not?

yes of course... had it 36k service about 2 months ago!

most manufactures offer atleast a 5yr paintwork warranty (i think)

yer that what i thought! Can anyone else confirm if its true? Cuz you wouldn't expect to see signs of rust on a 3½ year old car just yet!

I would think they would sort it. Rust on that age of car cant be ryt get it sorted chap

Could have had damage exposed (for a length of time) and/or been repaired poorly at some point.

Check for any overspary/paint mismatch or anything not quite right around those area's.

Doesn't sound right for a car of that age.
