Four Ashes Renault Specialists - Wolverhampton

  RenaultSport Clio 182
Hi

Anyone used Four Ashes Renault Specialists in Wolverhampton ?

Looking for opinions etc as my 182 needs a 36000 mile service and I'm going to get the cam belt done at the same time to save the effort and cost of getting it done next year. I have just given them a call to get a price and they are loads cheaper than Renault Wolverhampton.

Just have that little nagging voice in my head, you get what you pay for and I don't want to save money now and get problems later on.

Any opinions on quality of work / service etc.

Thanks in advance.

Am taking my 197 to BTM for its first service over Renault and any of the other sepcialists. Bonus is you get to see Freds pretty face :)

went down there a couple of weeks ago, talked to the main bloke in charge for a while and they certainly know what they're doing, also has a quick chat with one of the mechanics, he also works at renault, I'm booking mine in there at the end of the month for a cambelt change.

ive been there for spares before, main guy used to be a renault tech for main dealer so he knows his stuff, they also have the correct tools for the timing so i shouldnt have thought there wouldnt be a problem

They did my 36k mile service and did my AUX belt.

Also put my K-Tec exhaust on, no problems, good service.

comments like this make me laugh.

Most people say they dont trust renaults monkies, but then as soon as they work at, or run an independant place its seen as a goode thing.

Rob this is no way a dig at you, just a comment I have seen numerous times before

its the good renault technicians with common sense that leave reanault for a specialist or start up on there own. four ashes managed to find a knocking on my 197 within minutes that renault wolverhampton couldnt find.

Fred at BTM all day for me. Top guy, top work and he has even corrected an issue that wasn't picked up that could have led to a very nasty accident. I shall be back to spend more reddies with him.
