Freesat HD or TV cards?

  Not a 320d
Im moving into a new place and it has 100mhz internetz from Virgin.

Apparently I can get Freesat and s**t like that only I dont have a telly. Wondering if I can install a PCI card into my PC and use that to watch telly for when I dont want to socialise with my retarded house mates?

Its got cat5e running through the joint and theres an internet box (assuming its a gateway or extender) in my room I could plug into. Using category 5 wire....

you need to connect it up to a satellite or the outloop on a sky box with co-ax, not via cat 5.

the software included also records onto hdd if you want to watch something, even if the pc is switched off, it boots up, records, then shuts down when its finished.

Any type of PCTV card needs an aerial, whether it be a terrestrial yagi or satellite dish. They have nothing to do with your internet or how fast it is. If your in a city area or within good range of a transmitter, the DVB-T cards can work with a very will 3ch indoor aerial (look a bit like a wifi aerial) so no outside aerial required. You can get USB and PCI versions of these cards.
