Freesat HD recording requirements

Looking to get a free sat HD box for my home, i would also like to have the feature to record.

the connection that comes into the flat is a single feed from the sat dish...

Would i need a double feed i.e. two connections from the sat dish to enable me to record programs the same as sky+?

if you want to watch one channel and record another then yes but you need multiple LNB connections (not sure how it works for flats )

i record mine via a media PC but i have tunner cards that give me 2 x freesat hd and 4 x freeview HD

Freesat isnt really worth it over Freeview HD if you have one Dish feed. (Unless you want to watch something like the Olympics, but that's not regular enough)
