Without the need for using any data or a wifi connection!

Pretty cool idea tbh, I'm somewhat tempted to buy it just to give it a go. Not sure how much I'd actaully use it though.

is 3g signal ever really good enough to live-stream TV though? Even more so with the resolutions on tablets.

fair enough, never quite sure how well my connection can do on streaming, used to use phone as a modem and it was.. tolerable, but not good.

that was iplayer onto a laptop though, may be a completely different case.

i used to use tvcatchup on 3g to watch match of the day. would stream fine for about 30 minutes then needed a refresh.
