Frequency of oil changes for track only cup

Just after bit of advice on how often to change the engine oil for a track based car, changed it when I got the car back in March, think I've done maybe 4 or 5 days. So is it best to change now, got another day coming up on the 31st.

Not after oil spec or anything technical just a bit of a guide as to when's best to change.

I'd say at least every other track day ..or every 6 months whichever is first

Depends on oil temps, how many laps/miles you do on track and the spec of the oil, but as said above every other should be ok. 4-5 is a long spell unless you only do short sprints.

Modern oils wont degrade as fast as you think. I'd not be particularly worried about increasing intervals as long as you use a heavier oil (higher heat stability)

the reason I recommend a 6k oil change on a road car is down to contamination in the oil rather than the oil itself breaking down
