Fresh paint protection.

This could have gone in the detailing section I suppose if there's any particular products that may help in protection.

On Saturday I will be picking my car up with a full front end respray, wings, bonnet and bumper. I'm also having my rear bumper, bootlid and bumpstrips painted too.

Apart from wrapping it all up Gally style or bonnet bra etc what other protection can I give the fresh paint?

I was looking at the 3M film stuff, anyone had any experience of this, is it ok to get off after wards, does it go yellow etc?

Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance:)

The new paintshield is one of the best on the market. Maybve fire an email to Kelly @ KDS mate and ask his recommendation. Think it's the new 3M stuff.

I'm not a fan of paintshields per se', ruins the look of a detailed car. But it's useful.

First thing I did to the Frp was remove all of it and show the true paint finish.

Cheers Kev, I will really want it during the winter tbh then I'll peel it all off. I lost count the amount of times I got peppered by gritters last year at 50+mph lol

It's only a rubbish old seat anyway but I want to keep it freshs for as long as possible before it's smattered with chips and scratches etc.

Great when you get it off and see the awesome paint underneath. Give them an email, they used a company for the yellow Aventador they did.

LOL, Steve has been told he isn't allowed in the same workshop as my car.
