How long till i can clean and wax it?

leave it a good month or two before you polish/wax it, fresh paint needs to breath to harden off completely, hence if you wax/polish it your seeling the moisture in with is never a good thing as youll gain micro blisters in the paint....

as for washing it, your fine, but us a shampoo that contains no wax or at least very little....

also dont press on two hard when washing, as your paint will be soft still.....

No time at all! Waterbased paints are different to acrylics! The curin time is hours if it's baked in an over!

After renault eventualy fitted my spoiler (took them 2 and a half months a 4 resprays) they hand washed my car for me ~(how nice) but they said i shouldn't put it in the car wash for a month

Aks the painter, some say 30-60 days before waxing/sealing to allow any gasses to escape.

Polishing can be done straight away as long as it is a pure sealant/wax free polish.

Individual parts that can be baked properly should be fine to polish and wax straight away.

tbh if its been baked, a couple hours is fine.

ive been at garages where the valeters would polish and wax freshly painted panels and there was never any problems.

paint takes ages and ages to cure "properly" but tbh you wont notice any difference between 2 days and 60 days imo

Think the new clio is water based paint but mine was fine with washing/polishing a couple of days later.
