Freshened up the interior this morning

This turned up in the post this morning so i popped it on and have to say im well chuffed. Wasnt sure it would look right what with everything else inside being standard (at the moment), but it really is a massive improvement on the naff old wheel.

Ive also written a guide on changing the wheel which will be up shortly.

that looks so much better mate. im just waiting on my wheel now got an omp one on the way too! did you have much trouble gettin the air bag out?

The new wheel looks soo much better. I can't believe they made them with neoprine wheels ! I got one re-trimmed in leather. I still have the original one though.

My OMP wheel looks woeful after a few months. The alcantara doesn't last well at all, shiny as f**k at the moment.

Lovely, looks nice dude.

this is next on my list. :) If anyone wants to swap a lovely example of a PH1 standard wheel for an aftermarket let me know ;)

Its 330mm, so a fair bit smaller than standard but not too silly at all.

Perfect IMO.

Surprisingly it is different to drive with. feels just like my go-kart to hold now. Makes you want to chuck it about and flick it around a lot more than you would with the previous bus wheel.

I asked Burp to do mine, it's probably easy if you know what you're doing, but it did look a bit tricky when I watched :( Wouldnt recommend doing it yourself unless you have good instructions!

cheers fella will have a look now...
was it hard to fit? is there a big torq screw holding the steering wheel on?

as said mate i did a full guide whilst i fit it so that should be up in the guides sections pretty soon.

Essentially its a couple of small torx screws on the ph1, undo a couple of clips then unbolt the big torx bolt holding the wheel to the column.
