Well the car was back into the garage today (SWR Stirling) getting some small things sorted and i was getting the sump gasket changed and the sump bolts changed also.
I was shouted through to ask if i have had any engine work on the bottom end and i said no and they asked if i was sure.
I was told to look at the oil pick pipe and then look in the sump and we found this bolt (in the pictures below) and when looking at the marking on the bolt you can see that they are the exact same as the markings on the con rod bolts.
My bolts where all checked and they where all there and in place with nothing missing.
As you will see from the pictures the bolt has been fully jammed for a while as its left a very deep mark
