From this.... to this.... and then to this!

Bought these wheels off of german ebay. Apparently they came off a Nissan a long time ago!

Polished them up by hand and repainted the detailed bits on em.

Now they're on my car but i cant drive it cos the rear is too low and it just scrapes on the inner arch so im gonna have to raise it up this weekend and put some new shocks on it cos the old ones are fubared and that wont be helping the situation!!!!

What everyone think???

P.S i know my car needs a wash but i was too eager to put them on and see what it looked like and then once i realised it wouldnt move with em on i decided to leave it and had to come back to uni :(

lol, it said it had crashed so i re-submitted my reply ;)
Are you the fella that used to have ronal turbos Shorty??

they are 15x7 on an et28, the same as the Ronal Turbos that just came off(which didnt scrub which is kinda weird) so they stick out a little in the arches compared to the Ph2 wheels. Cant wait to get the suspension sorted so i can clean and drive it!

Oh Btw since nobody replied in my post on technical forum can someone tell me if there is a rule to what bolt spacing the front suspension is? did certain models have certain sizes or were renault too stooopid to do something that logical and decided to leave it to pot luck?

Plenty of interesting wheels on German ebay just gotta go fishing! and they're all cheap too coz theres plenty of em. I got these for £122 inc P&P. BARGAIN!!!!!

No pics with the plates on as i cant source any plate holders for a reasonable amount of money. ( The VW boys like paying over the odds for their stuff dont they!!!!!)
Definitely going to FCS this year. wouldnt miss it for the world.

More pics when suspension has been reset and i can give 'er a wash!!!!

Glad u all like it lads, wasnt sure what response it would get.

Jaybee,

In german ebay there is a way of searching by size of wheel so you dont particularly have to search by name. Which is really good if you know what size but not which wheels!

You get to it through the menu on the left hand side of the homepage. If i remeber rightly it goes a little something like this:
First choose auto & motorrad then choose autoreifen & felgen then input what sizes you wnat into the menus. Its worth noting that if they arent reno fitment you will have to have some work done on them to get them to fit cos reno's have a dogdy sized centre bore.

Quick point - in the pic when they're on the car, haven't you got the tyres on the wrong way? i.e. they should be on the other side of the car as otherwise the directional abilities of the tyre to disperse water will be all fucked up and create, er, 'interesting' handling... lol

It would appear that way from the tread wouldnt it but they were all marked up by the tyre fitters as to which corner each wheel was intended for and i put them all on the right corners. I also checked the directional indicator on them all and they point the right way!

The tread does look wierd tho, you got me thinkin now! gonna have to check them all this weekend when i get home again! Are you the guy who bought my Ronals mate?

Shorty

They are definitely wrong as the tread is supposed to push the water out the side as you go along, not force it into the middle! Post up a side on pic of the wheel so we can see the side markings and see if you're being silly ;) lol

Wasn't me who bought the ronals though!
