hello

does anyone know if the clio bonnetts are the same across the range? no specific sport one?

would this do for a 172?

also anyone know of a sport front bumper for sale anywhere? ebay returning nothing, preferably monaco blue but am gonna spray unless I am extremely lucky anyway

also anyone know roughly how much I should be paying to get a front sport bumper, and bonnett sprayed monaco blue?

no experience with body shops / would rather not be ripped off cheers

alright mate, that bonnet to that link is for a normal bonnet. the sport ones are sligthtly bigger so you will need a sport one if you have a clio sport.

spraying varies, but usually about a hundred pound a panel from a good bodywork garage

not sure where u can buy a bumper, though ebay get some once in a while but are quite expensive. why are you looking for them?

If you're having a whole bonnet sprayed, you'd ideally get the wings done too to blend the colour.

This is not true? They're exactly the same, Only difference is in some ph1's where they had alloy bonnets.

oh, thought they were slightly different as i bought a bonnet and did not fit lush on my 182

the ph2 bonnets are all the same, 1.2 or 172

id roam a scrap yard for the bumper,
but to fit a sport front bumper,
you need sport wings too,
unless your good with fiberglass

Agreed, if it doesn't fit right it simply needs the bolts loosened off and adjusted till it does.

my bad peeps, sorry thought they were actually different sizes. Going to have a look at my bonnet tomo cos my bonnet doesnt seem to be aligned properly. ne ideas how to do it then?

Bonnet alignment is done via the hinges. I think the bolts are in oval holes, or similar.

oh i see, is it hard to do? do i open the bonnet, adjust then put it down to see if its right then. ne one got ne pics of the hinges i adjust? :S sorry for spamming but i want mine aligned now that i know it can be done Lol
