Front bumper sat wrong

Hi Guys/Girls

I have fitted the CM comp splitter today and when all put back together it would sit straight. I have tried everything but won’t change the angle. Any ideas ?

No not bolted underneath as yet but I clamped it to see if it made any difference. It didn’t. Also checked to see if it was catching anywhere, it wasn’t

There should be a clip that slides over the bumper tab and front wing tab. But should still clip in ok without these as most the 182’s I have broke had them missing.

That isn't clipped in properly. Turn the wheels and get a better look.

Needs pulling out and the clips bending up over the bracket in the wheel well.

SO easy to get these front bumpers out of line. The Neanderthals at Renault did this on my car when they replaced the alternator. The panel gap was horrendous.

Unbolted it myself and realigned it. It is a bit fiddly and at times you're thinking 'why won't it fit!?' Keep trying - it does eventually. And it's a LOT easier if you have an extra pair of hands that trying to clip oneside in and then the next.

Mine is more snug than that and its only held on with the plastic clips in the wings and the tow eye, that’s not clipped in properly.

It needs pulling out on both sides and smacking back in again.

It's driving me bananas. I have refitted it about 14 times, but wont go back any other way.

I need to get it on a ramp to see if it is fouling somewhere to twist it. It fitted perfectly until the splitter went on

genuinely mate it just needs taking off again and pulling it towards the rear of the car and push in. It won’t go back on as it’s on the clips under the wheel arch

This is the blots you should have through the metal bracket first then the plastic bumper on top.

And this is how it should look without the bolt in.
