Front bumper

Ok i have a 1.2 authentique.... i think and hate the black bit on the front bumper..... also i hate the lack of grill n the bottom hakf. On the 182's dno bout the 172's theres the grill and no black bits, isn't there!
How hard is it to swap the bumper??? Don't worry bout colour... i can sort that .
So is it a hard job to swap the bmper... is it an exact swap? And also how about the fog/spot lights. will i have to buy a pair to put in? As i currently dont have any. Or can i just put my existing blanks straight into the new bumper???

Hey m8,
I dno about your spot lights, if you get a new bumper from a breakers you could probs get the spot lights in the bumper already then just get it respraed to your colour :]

As for taking your bumper off this guide is for taking the bump strips and spoilers off but i believe it shows you how to get the bumper fully off (The front one anyway )

In order to fit a 172/ 182 sport bumper to a 1.2 you need to replace...

bumper, both grilles, fogs, fog surrounds, both front wings, arch liners and side skirts... as they're all wider and all fit into each other.

Just get the criss cross front upper grille from a sport mate, as its the only bit thats a straight swap. Will make the car looks better though. You could get the black strips colour coded too.

None of that will fit mate.

Only bit that does is the grille either side of the renault badge (upper grille)

Because its wider than standard.

By quite a bit, in order to fit the wider arches.

Trust me, you need everything listed or some extensive alterations to the bumper.
