front calipers

I'm wanting to fit some used front calipers to my 172 as mine seized and after freeing off the sliders there is play in 2 of them.. my discs were warped and they are being replaced too. has anybody had bad experiences with slight play in the sliders. or is it nothing to worry about on the Clio. I've not got another I can compare the play against you see.. what I wouldn't like is for it to ruin our warp my new genuine discs, hence being so bothered.

the sliders do have some play in them, can rock the caliper back and forth by about 1mm on mine... and thats with new sliders as mine where knocking around over bumps...

has the knocking stopped? mine do chatter under light breaking now you mention it.

more or less, i did use high heat grease on the sliders and bend the anti rattle clips out more, the ratteling tends to be the pads ratteling around and not the actual caliper

thanks mate. I'll go with second hand and new sliders.. 70 quid a pop new, and it may not make a difference.
