Front fog lights on MK2 PH2 Clio

  Clio 1.6 16V '03
Hello,

Both my front fog lights are not working.

The fuse is OK, checked the relay and there is no loose wire.
I checked the fuse contacts with a multimeter, also tried it with the rear fog lights.
When I turn the rear fog lights on, I get a signal on the multimeter, ( rear lights are working).
But when I do the same at the fuse contacts for the front fog lights, I get no signal (no beep).

When rear fog lights are turned on, I get the symbol illuminated.
But front lights stay off.

Since this is my first car, I do not know where to start checking.

Cheers,
Alex

Next week I'm going to lift the car up for a service, replacement of the oils.
I will then take a look at both suggestions, thank you!
I'll let you know when I found the problem (and what the problem was)

I have not yet found the problem, i think its A broken wire.
The connections between the 2 lights are ok, bulbs are okay.
So the problem is somewhere between the fuse and the wire starting at the legt fog light

Does anyone had an electrical drawing for me?

Have you tried the connection that separates for when you remove the bumper?

I tested it, but i did not follow the wire back to the fuses.
Tommorow the next steps are to test between the relay and the connector at the lights, and between the relay and the fuse, so i know where the problem is, i Will give an update

I finally found the problem.
The relay wasn't properly connected to its holder.
You can find the relay above the pedals on the left hand side (for UK cars on the passenger side).
Its a black relay.
It is possible to kick the relay out of its holder.
