front fogs not working

hi all the fogs on my clio just suddenly stoped working its a 1.4 phase 2 mk1 so far ive tried cleaning conections wich were corroded and changed fuse with no availe is it possable that both bulds have gone at the same time ? or wen one goes do both stop working
