Front Mouldings

I need to replace the front centre section of my mouldings on my ph2.

Will both mouldings fit my 54 reg ph2? I like the bottom one which seems to have an exact recess for the plate, unlike the one I have now which fades out (top).

They look very similar but I'm not exactly sure if the bottom one will fit. Can anyone help?

Pretty sure the front bumper moulding are different on a Ph3 (04>) so I don't think one from a Ph2 will fit. The edge pieces definetly are not 100% on the centre piece.

Right cheers mate, looks like I will go for safe option and just get the same as what is currently on the car now.

Yeah the edges are different as the bumper was redesigned for the ph3 so I would play it safe and get a ph3 one mate.

buy it, try it, if it dont fit, take it back and say its the wrong one that you wanted n get the right one?

or just ask the parts bloke if you can see both mouldings to see if they are the same

Good point, was intending on buying the parts off ebay. Not even attempted the stealers due to ridiculous prices.

Think i will enquire tomorrow.

The stealers won't keep them in stock anyway so not much good and they usually say special order parts are non-returnable.
