Front offside caliper carrier

Unfortunately the carrier thread has stripped and i'm struggling to find a replacement. Order a second hand caliper with carrier which also came with stripped threads.

I believe the Renault part number is 7701047929. I can't find any OEM.

This part states its for both sides, but I didn't think they were interchangeable.

LH side is 7701047928
RH side is 7701047929

You can’t cross thread a carrier as it bolts to the hub, then the calliper attaches to the carrier via the sliders.

If the sliders are cross threaded then they’re readily available from Bigg Red

Yeah the carriers aren't threaded, it's the hub itself that's threaded.

The carriers are NLA from Renault.

Need to buy second hand.

Went back and checked and there is a small amount of thread in the carrier, not sure how. I've got a pair of calipers with carriers so all now sorted. Seems like parts are getting harder and harder to find but i'll get her back on the road. Appreciate the help

The calipers and carriers were made by TRW-Lucas for Renault.

Here’s what you need if you’re going new. 182 CB22.
