Front Seat Airbags - advice needed

If I remove the front seats of my 172 is the airbag warning light going to stay on constantly - is there a way around this if so?

also how do you remove the seat without the airbag exploding - do you simply detach the plugs underneath the seats?

as for removing just make sure you disconnect the battery and leave for 30mins to allow the airbag system to drain. then just unplug.
