Front speakers for mk1

Im after a new set of speakers for the front of my mk1 phase 3 clio.

Now i do not have door speakers, its the inbuild dashboard speakers.

10cm or 4" inches.


I have new SPL-X rear speakers and they are great, the front needs to be a slim line tweeter, due to the space issue at the front.

Anyone got any good ideas, for under £50?

I would have to cut the door cards out in my ph3. Dont want to do that right now.

My Clio is a phase 3, made in 1998. But it does not have door speakers, just dash and rear.

mine just has dash, no rear, there are holes for rear, but none have been fitted, i have a 1.2 biarritz model.

mines 97 and has door speakers, dash speakers and rears...

I had to install rear speakers by splicing into the ISO at the front and running cables along the side of the car. However i used standard renault speakers, which were replaced by SPL-X.

I think ill get some new kenwood ones for the front now that all my sounds seem to be nice appart from the front now.

Mines a mk1 ph3, where are the dash speakers. i know i have door speakers, and where are the rear speakers?
