Front Springs replaced, car now pulls to right.

  Oil Burner
I had a broken front right spring, this was replaced last week. Now the car pulls consistently to the right. But its just like the steering wheel is now a few degrees off centre. The car drives as normal, but a few deg off what it did before i had the springs replaced.

Ive had a quick look, the offside gator on the damper looks like it isnt sitting correctly (but i cant believe this would cause geometry issues) There is a tiny bit of movement in the left wheel (toe movement), but i would imagine this has just developed. It would have been there before the replacement springs.

Any ideas?

Do people often find the car has strange geometry until the springs settle?

Thanks,

Thanks,

I think its one of the shocks sitting longer than the other.

I wonder if its possible the damper/shock with the broken spring has been damaged and is sagging/sitting lower?

why would you have your tracking done when a spring has been replaced?
you should always replace springs in pairs anyway, thats probably your problem, either that or the monkeys that replaced it messed up your tracking.

Not a monkey, a friend, seemed to do everything by the book as far as i could tell.

Had the pair replaced too.

Springs settle when the weight of the car is applied. They don't settle in over a period of time.

After any suspension/steering work you should get your tracking checked/adjusted whether you think it should be out or not.
