Front Wheel Bearing?

Am I right in thinking if I turn left and the noise of the bearing gets louder the bearing that needs replacing is on the opposite side?

When I turn the wheel left the noise gets louder than when under normal load. If I then turn the wheel right it gets quieter. I am just about to change the drivers side front. I am doing the right one?

Its not any of the backs as I only replaced them several thousand miles ago and I've jacked up the rears and spun them...

This was the case in my car when i changed my wheel bearing, but the other side went not long after anyway.

Yeah when you turn all the weights transfered, 99% of the time, if the noise is when turning left, the right hand bearings gone (more force put onto it) and vice versa when you turn right.
