Front wheel bearing

  Clio 182,Ducati 888!
Newbie to the clio fold here and need to get the front wheel bearing changed, whats the score with it, as have rung up gsf and eurocarparts one says it comes as part of a hub assembly the other says its just a bearing, and after googling it,im told its a t**t of a job to do and best left to a garage.
Is it just a bearing and is it a diy job as i have access to a press.cheers!!

They're not too bad to change just get the hub off, get old bearing off press new one on and refit, just remember to pump the brakes when its all back on

If you buy the whole hub assembly that means its just a hub swap over, the bearing alone means you will need to get the old bearing pressed out of the old hub and the new one pressed in..

The hub swap is the easiest DIY if you don't have access to a bearing press... although you will still need a torque wrench for the correct nut torque setting when you tighten the hub nut back up either way for the best result.
