Front wing vandalised! Please help.

  Monaro VXR/Cupra TDi
Last night some individual took a disliking to the passenger side front wing.
Its been keyed.Scored into the plastic wing itself. Can someone advise on the best route of repair please, replace wing,re-spray etc? Also any idea on a rough outline of price. All comments appreciated greatly. Thank you.

If you can catch the scratch with your nail it's a paint job you're needing. No more than £90 + vat

Pictures of damage? You dont have muhc luck do you :( Go the touch up route matey. Being RB it will be quite easy to match/fade in.

Around £90? I thought it might be more than that as the scratch is reasonably deep and could require blowing into the bonnet?

Not to pleased with the car recently, not been on here alot for that reason.

Firstly all the money spent on tuning with an unsatisfactory result. Secondly curbing on of the SuperTurismo's which had only been on a month and now this.:(

Not pleased at all.

  Shed.
buy a paintstick form renault, and paint over it.

Get some 2500 grit and some 3000 grit wetordry sandpaper, sand it down untill level, and polish out the scratches it leaves. I remember someone saying you can scratc x the wetordry scrates out by hand.

Thanks for the advice.:) But considering the paint was immaculate until this episode and I'm a keen detailer I'd rather not.

It needs to look as it did before the incident which wasn't far off from when it left the factory.

RB will be very easy to match. If you do a good job with the touch up stick you wont be able to tell. Ps what happened with the engine in the end, Any conclusive info as too whats up?

Haven't bothered to return to AngelWorks for a diagnosis on the difference in power.

Budget may well allow me to buy something slightly quicker by the end of the year. So rather than spend more money on finding out/remedying the problem, save it towards a potential new car. This applies to future mods I had on the cards also.

It could be something simple such as a gas leak in the exhaust system, or perhaps cam timing is off. Doubtful the timing is off as Ben is rather good when it comes to fitting cams.

Only other thing is a compression leak from some part of the engine.

As I say, I'll save my pennies and move on. Shame, one struggles to find a finer handling car in the Clio's class.

Bad luck happens in three's, so hopefully I've had my share.

The really weird thing about all this is something I've encountered before with cars. As soon as my interest wains with the current pride and joy, faults start to occur or it's damaged in some way or another.
