Hello,
I am probably going to order the KTEC Front Big brake conversion kit thingy tommorow. Now I was wondering if I should order a FSE power boost valve aswell. I got a pretty big flatspot and its worse the colder it is. Its between 2.5k and 3.5k (approx) in the rev range. Its more noticble nearer 2.5 but your still feeling it in the 3s. Now will this get over it or not? I know KTEC, according to there price list, say they dont do one for my car, but I have seen them advertised for it. So I might ask them if they can get one.
Just wondered what you guys/girls thought? If thats no good, can you think of some other way of getting over the flatspot. If I leave the gears to the redline and then change I seem to drop to the end of the flatspot in the next gear, so it takes a bit longer to get going again. Its worse when just acclerating in one gear though. You can forget a quick exit from a junction when its cold.
