FTAO those that have removed your ABS; what did you do about the speedo signal?

Early ph2 are speedo gearbox, you could retrofit that setup I guess.

Mine's a road legal track car. I guess I could just use a Satnav.

Do the speedo drive boxes use a pencil drive that runs directly to the clocks or are there electronics along the way?

Mine is an early phase 1 on a 51 so I may be in luck!

Yes you will be in luck, one of ours is an 02 car and has the speedo drive.

Yes mate, very similar, there is an electronic speed sender that is driven by a cog on the diff.

Then on the late ph2 (172 or 182 makes no difference) they swapped to using the ABS only and the box then doesnt have the ability to drive the sender anymore, bit like an early versus late F28 vauxhall box.
