FTO or ph1 172

been thinking of this for a while. I ve had the chance to drive my brothers FTO for a while whist me was holiday. At first I really liked it (and still do)wanted to go out buy 1. Nice relaxing driving car and quite fast. Anyway to cut a long story short, after 2 weeks of driving to and from work, and out and about, putting the FTO to the test, I decided to jump in my ph 1 172 one last time.

Bare in mind during the 2 weeks I never given got in my 172 let alone started it. Within 20 mintues in her, I couldnt believe I was going to choose the FTO over her. ph1 172 so so so much better I love it to bits:approve: :approve: :approve: :approve: :approve: :approve: :approve: :approve: :approve: :approve: :star:

v6 fto are pretty nippy mate, sub 7sec to 60.

thats the one my bruvs got, nice motor but just doesnt see fast at all. e-ray any mods done to ur car yet?

Torque is pants, and you can't do much at all with the engines

V6's aren't supposed to be 2L's either, stupid Japs

Do have to admit they sound lovely tho

i was gonna get fto b4 i got my ph1 172. glad i didnt. they look gay and theyre mostly those daft tiptronic semi auto gearboxes.
2.0 V6 but they got to weigh lot more than clio and clio i reckon be a lot more fun to chuck around. plus cheaper on juice.
FTOs are done and dusted, never really made it as a head turner (if did only cos it looks weird).

my mate had a yellow 2.0l V6 fto with a veilside kit, custom leather interior and some tasty black alloys

engine wise a few little minors what you done with yours? i dont see any mk1 172 around north london, apart from one parked up in islington that doesnt move.
