So dif my usual stint to visit my nan who lives by dellamere forest. Half motorway half b roads. Conversation with the gf about fuel economy, mates are going on a road trip etc. 44.1 mpg, well impressed and thought I'd share lol

My final question before I started looking to buy a 172 was going to be on fuel economy...are they very thirsty when using lead foot? Or can you have a bit of fun with them before seeing the guage move?:rasp:

My 106 gti is pretty good on juice even with spirited driving...although a 306 gti-6 i used to have was awful on fuel even before putting your foot down:dapprove:
