Fuel filter location megane coupe 1.6 16v?

Hey guys, can anyone tell me where I can find the fuel filter on a 99' Megane Coupe cabriolet, 1.6 16V?

Any help appreciated.

IF it has one it will be next to the fuel tank on the underside of the vehicle (drivers side normally) however, it could also have the in tank unit in which case leave well alone.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I have the filter, but as I have never changed one myself I am unsure of where I could find it, the filter itself is a cylinder about 3 inches long with OUT written on one end, and there is a part of the engine block which looks like it may fit into, but I am not sure if it would be there. I will have a look tomorrow but until then I am trying to find out where it may be. I will check the underside of the car tomorrow.
