Bit of an odd one here. I'm converting an old ph1 1.2 8v over to 1.6 16v.
-Both cars are mk2 PH1, but the 1.2 is a very early car, the 1.6 a very late car.
-The 1.2 has a fuel return line, so has 3 lines running under the car (fuel, return and i assume tank vent from the carbon canister?)
- The 1.6 has just 2 lines, a fuel line and vent from the carbon canister
-1.2 has a FPR on the rail, 1.6 doesn't.
My plan tomorrow is to get the car up high so i can get under it and work out what my solution is but was just wondering if anyone has been here before.
what's throwing me is, both cars only have 2 connections on the top of the pump/senderunit, where is the 3rd line going on the 1.2? i can feel it going up behind the fuel filter but cant see any further than that.
are the tanks different or is it just the pump/sender units?
