Fuel Rail Guard

its to protect the fuel rail in the event of a head on crash as the result would be a lot of fuel leakage which aint a very good idea lol
 
No real reason to remove it, not going to save a lot of weight and it's not in the way of anything apart from perhaps an IK CAF. But, yeah, remove the two bolts in the two further left holes at the front of it.
 
2X 10mm bolts iirc, its normally removed to gain access to the oil filter when changing the oil. It can be a pain to get off if you dont have the right sized socket extension bar.
