do you really want to know what it does?
it lowers the resistance of the temp sensor for the ecu so the ecu thinks it's hotter than it really is, backs off some fuel and will advance the timing.
same as the power boost ones that do the opposite lowers temp increase fuel and therefore more power
the power boost one does work of a fashion, i built my own to try it, but wouldn't say if it does your engine any good. a remap is best to be honest
