Fuel Surge! Help

  Trophy Turbo :)
Hi Guys.

After some advice.

On hard right handers, i.e roundabouts and we throw the car into it quickly, the car suffers fuel surge. as soon as it is back on a straight line it goes well again, this is only when the car had 1/4 of a tank or less. if its full or half this doesnt happen

I dont want to suffer having to have more than a 1/4 tank of juice, so i am thinking of a swirl pot. is any one on here running one in there clio.

I have a Walbrough 225 Fuel Pump fitted already

The engine is a Throttle Bodied High Compestion Mk1 172 Engine. with 240hp.

Cheers

Andy

Norm was going to but he sold the car. You could always baffle the tank for cheapness?

Saying that, is the Walbro an in-tank pump?

Could try an n-line Facet type pump and run the supply hose through the original pump hole with a bung and into the lowest corner of the tank?

The think is this is all in a 16v valver 1994 - We have fitted a 1.2 tank as the valver has 2 tanks. I think a Swirl tank will eb best option 11st Aug is track day so i must not waste time and get it sorted asap, the tank has a pool were the pump sits already
