right, as the title says really. i currently have the fuel pump off and in the depths of doing my solid bucket clearances ( valve clearance )

i took the fuel lines off infront of the engine today, and cleaned them through with the air jet,

now the crap that came out was abit to dirty for my like'n as the dci fuel system is one tempremental b**ch !

question is , is there any product ie ' cleaner ' i can flush the whole fuel system with, including injectors?
parafin ( sp ) i pressume will be oaky to flush pipes out but not injectors?

fuel aditives i do not want to know about as they really dont make naff all difference imo

We used to use injector/fuel cleaner from Delphi, quite expensive but worth it. Take the fuel pump feed and return and pop it in the container, run it completely raw or slightly diluted to bulk out. Run car for 20 mins or so with it, worked wonders on cars with slight running issues and cars that had been filled with petrol and run. It saved stripping down full fuel systems and hours of labour for many customers. Once done stick the rest in the tank. I actually advise friends when doing a filter change to fill new filter with cleaner rather than fuel, it gets to all the crucial parts quickly and undiluted.

That was at a certified diesel injection specialist for Delphi/Bosch/Siemens/L'orange so no back street garage.

Edit: replace filter before doing this.
