fuel trip just flashing lines no number

hi been like this for while sent in for interior spray and came out with the fuel trip not working so now relying on the old needle joby but anoying not precise so any god any idea if there any sensors or bit that may be uncliped obviously fuel pump one conected or car wouldnt start ???

Key in ignition - Hold down wiper stalk button - Turn key till ignition lights come on - clockset will beep and go in to diagnostics mode - release stalk button - press trip reset button - turn off ignition - turn back on and take the car for a run... should now be working again.

tried that no luck mate any other options also is it normal for all the needlese to be going crazy and the beeping noise that happend ?

Yes it's normal for the needles to go crazy when you do the above.

With regards to the fuel trip not working, I had it once on my 182, and disconnecting the battery for a minute and then reconnecting cured it for me.

Disconnect the fuel level sender under the back bench and clean the connection up.

really a dirty conection could effect the reading ? cheers no more sensors located around the car that could of been disconected any relating ?

I've seen it before, even if the fuel gauge is working sometimes the range won't.
